If you were a painting

What if the characters in The Beautiful Abyss were paintings?

I went on a Google hunt to find art representations for them.

What do you think? Want to get to know them more?

SUBSCRIBE and let me know.

If you had to choose a painting to represent yourself, which would it be? The choices are endless. Maybe you would make your own art. The opening image is a self-portrait I did with my left hand.

Did you know there are personality tests based on what art you are attracted to? Who would’ve thunk? According to Discover magazine, there are five major personality categories: openness, conscientiousness, extroversion, agreeableness and neuroticism. I did take a test (www.riseart.com) which told me I’m a “Connoisseur”. Apparently I have refined taste. I’ll buy that. Ha!

Now, here are my choices for the main players. Are you intrigued?

Niki, the protagonist

“Hoodie”
Anne Siems

Thof, the antagonist

“Rupture”
Remedios Varo

Costa, the lover

“Secret Kiss”
Giordanne Salley

Brielle, the villain

“Witch & Scarecrow in the Snow”
Ernst Ludwig Kirchner

Selena, the soothsayer

“Spring Light”
Kiki Smith

Ugo, the dolt

“Old People”
Lupo Sol
